Once again, it has been awhile...

It has definitely been awhile, but nevertheless here I am! Nothing like waiting a few years between posts.

It is Memorial Day weekend and while we have nothing special planned, I always enjoy when life can somehow slow a bit to enjoy family time together. It just never seems enough, you know? It seems we are always rushing from one thing to another and always telling one another that we will spend some time together "soon". Yet "soon" can turn into days, months, years, etc.

Davin and I will have lived in Texas 7 years this July. Although a lot has happened in those 7 years, I still cannot believe that much time has gone by. I was in my late 20's when we moved here and now I have officially hit my mid-30's. Time sure does fly as you get older. Which is why I enjoy talking and blogging about my past.

In any case, I do hope to blog more than every few years. But, for now here is my first for the year 2010!
